Almost Everything You Need to Know About Web Advertising
When you are a solo entrepreneur or small business owner, web advertising is a must. But it can be easy to get overwhelmed by the where, what, and how of online marketing. That’s why the web marketing professionals from Legal Linguist, Intuitive Indigo, and Major Robot Interactive are coming together to present the Web-iverse: Almost Everything You Need to Know About Web Advertising on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 12:00.
The Low-Down
When you are a solo entrepreneur or small business owner, it can be hard to balance your advertising goals with a start-up budget. Not to mention all the other demands on your time from, I don’t know, running your business! It can be difficult for small business owners to know what is important, and how to prioritize their time, money, and energy. With so many options available, it can be far too easy to just throw up your hands and give up.
But online marketing doesn’t have to be overwhelming. We are bringing together a panel of experts to help you figure out what to do and say online to make the most of your web advertising investment.
The Panelists
Lisa Schmidt, Legal Linguist
Lisa Schmidt is the writer for Legal Linguist. She is a ghostwriter who provides blog and web-content services to lawyers and small business owners in Metro Detroit and across the country. She has also been published several times by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
Lisa will talk about the words on your website, including both standing web content and how to use a blog to keep your site fresh and boost your search engine results.
Jeanette Micallef, Intuitive Indigo
Jeanette Micallef is a web designer and owner of Intuitive Indigo. She provides easy and intuitive websites with a special focus on holistic health companies. A Reiki master and empath herself, Jeanette helps her clients connect to their customers through beautiful, easy-to-use websites.
Jeanette will talk about the layout and images on your website, including choosing colors that match your business. She will also touch on how you can use social media to drive users to your website.
Jonathan Bourland, Major Robot Interactive
Jonathan Bourland is a web developer and founder of Major Robot Interactive. Contrary to the theme of all cold calls Major Robot receives, it does not design, create, or sell to the government robots.
Rather, they use clever solutions and a client-focused attitude to build cutting-edge websites and interactive museum displays. And if there happen to be some robots sitting around while that happens, so be it.
Jonathan will take the mystery out of what you need to set up an all-star website. He will explain important terms and let you in on how you can make creative use of your website for everything from online advertising to client interactions.
